Parish Mission Trip to Uganda
Several members of St. Patrick Parish will be traveling to Uganda in July and spend a week working at Tender Mercies Orphanage and Outreach. Many heavier items and medical supplies such as crutches and heavier lotions and medicines can be purchased in Kampala, the capitol city. If you can donate funds to help purchase these supplies, please make your tax deductible contribution to St. Patrick Church and put Tender Mercies Orphanage in the memo line. Thanks so much for your generosity!
In the last two years, the flower beds surrounding our church and school have been cared for by parish volunteers who have “adopted” the various beds. We have all appreciated watching these beds come to life under their green thumbs.
We are now in need of someone who can take over the coordination of these volunteer gardeners. The job would entail getting parishioners to adopt a bed (most are already spoken for), coordinating mulch delivery, and then communicating with the gardeners about mulching and fall maintenance.
For more information, call Dave or Muriel Graham
444-8382 or the church office 444-3524.
